Parade Dress

Another Historical impression, of an Elite German Major of infantry ca. 1942, after some heroic service in WWI and heavy fighting just before the Allied invasion of Normandy. Sharply dressed and ready for a parade with brocade belt, special boots, and shoulder aglets.

This is not what a concentration camp personnel would wear. That would be associated with the TKVB, and the Ukranian guards. The color of their arm would be brown, not white as in this picture.


The Regular German Army (Heer, which is signified by the type of insignia sewn to the jacket) as well as the Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine, was forbidden by Hitler to be members of the NSDAP (Nazi Party, which was the organization affiliated with the conduction of war-crimes.) Rest easy, Hetalians and other cosplayers. A swastika does not a Nazi uniform make.
